If you’re saying “”””I don’t want this but will I make loads of money on it”””” then the answer is no, that’s about the going rate for dealers. It’s maybe even the high side for a private sale.

Not trying to do a good deal out of it
Just asking for some advice...
I showed this pics to another friend of mine and he is all over it ....I might even get a bigger reduction on this for him(finger crossed)
Never tried to make money out of watches
More pics (just received at my request)
Please let me know if you find something out of the order in these pics
Thanks again

Sorted out!
Managed to lower the price to 5k € and the watch went straight into the AD shop for a full service/cleaning/oiling
My friend(the new owners) is happy as Larry
I have to admit that seeing the watch in person managed to impress me with that lovely dial.

5k Eur is really really nice. Enjoy the watch once it comes back... i enjoyed the time I owned mine 16622.
These are criminally undervalued and largely ignored. A beautiful dual, and platinum bezel kinda makes this a bit of an under the radar watch. I know people call them bling but I can see the day these will become more popular as the look of them is so nice
I just wanted to say that I picked one up this week for more than this guy paid
I have always liked this model. The alternative choice was a 16570 in black with no box or papers and not great condition. So what do you get for what is arguably one of the cheapest secondhand sports rolexes:
Platinum bezel
A unique dial, not often seen so as many say its a little under the radar on terms of screaming the brand.
Daytona case?
Something a little different that looks very expensive on the wrist
And it is very versatile
Lots of strap options if you desire
Much less than a sub from the same year
As sports models get harder to find and buy, I just see this as the logical step for a good value rolex sports model
