Makes me think of The Transporter film where his speedmaster has a digital alarm go off.

So I wrote to Uncrate to point out their error, clarifying that as the Speedy Pro was manual wind only, a winder would do nothing and that only a quartz watch would be less appropriate.

    They wrote back & said

"Too funny. We値l have to shun the studio photographer. Thanks for the heads up, we値l get it switched out. Send us your address and we値l drop you a single cub winder on the house."

I assumed they might try to back out when I gave them my UK address as they're in USA but no, today I've had an email confirmation of my order showing ZERO to pay. I guess I might have to pay VAT / customs release fee when it arrives, but what a result?

Congrats on the freebie and thanks for posting what the issue was, I had no idea but felt an idiot asking...so didn't!

Little gestures like this from a company can go quite a long way, nice low cost positive advertising for them.
