Thread: NATO straps

    NATO straps

Sorry guys, I’m sure it’s been asked before but I can’t seem to find the thread(s).
Where to look for a good quality nato? All the ones I’ve had/seen feel cheap (even if they’re not) or “plasticky”.

Phoenix are the military supplier. Never had an issue with them. Usually under £20.

Try Haveston nato straps. They’re the most comfortable I’ve tried so far: https://www.haveston.com

I've got 2 Phoenix NATOs, both have suffered slight stretching of the holes most often used, otherwise they are good.
Bark & Jack are very good quality at a very good price & very fast delivery in my experience.

Zuludiver NATOs from WatchGecko are pretty good.

Always been happy with Blushark NATO straps. The basic strap with premium hardwear are a reasonable price and come in a good variety of colours. They also offer buy two get one free and buy three get two free deals. They even have 20% off for today.

Phoenix for me. Nice and thin. Hardware isn’t overdone. Material is kind of stiff but really nice tight weave. Accept no imitations!

Ordered one last week, maybe will get here tomorrow. I’ll try one at a time until I find what I want.

Third vote for the B&J ones, also very impressed with the leather straps they do too.

Sometimes the holes need a bit of extra sealing with a lighter but I find they support the watch head like nothing else - partly because they ‘fold’ nicely over the pins and retain shape.

I don’t like ‘deluxe’ NATO’s at all because making them deluxe makes them the opposite of how they should be - thin, heat welded and cheap.
