A case of buyer beware methinks.
I wondered what you make of this eBay auction selling a newish prs29a as a W10 for more than you could buy one from direct from Eddie.
Ignorant, deluded or out to make a few quid from the unwary?

I don’t think he’s a scammer. The seller points out that it’s a modern reissue. The price is a tad optimistic perhaps, but there’s a couple of extra straps thrown in for good measure. If I was in the market for one, I’d wait until next Sunday afternoon and buy a brand new one direct from Eddie.
"No longer available as time factor watches closed for the foreseeable future."
Ah that old chestnut.

I did send the seller a message two weeks ago suggesting that they amend the listing to a more accurate description or relist. Apparently, he believes that the provenance is obvious. I chose not to pursue it any further.

I don’t see anything wrong, by using the term W10 he’ll attract buyers searching for one, I guess he’s exaggerated by stating that Timefactors is closed for the foreseeable future but anyone looking to buy will do their homework and have a look at the Timefactors website.
As for the price?.........God loves a trier!
