I have some you can have if you PM an address I will stick in the post
I’d welcome some advice on buying good but sensibly priced springbar tweezers.
What have you got that you would recommend?
Oh, and yes I know Bergeon are the business but the tweezers are horrendously expensive...

I bought a copy of the Bergeon tool for around £30. Quality is OK but I don't find these tools as easy to use as I expected. Lots of faffing around getting it adjusted correctly. They're OK for removing springbars of the end pieces are a very snug fit, but using them to replace the bracelet is more of a challenge and I prefer to use my own method. Overall the conventional Bergeon single tool with a fine end is the most useful, worth spending to get one, but I wouldn't spend a lot to buy the tweezer-type tool.
Yeah, I bought a pair of the convincing-looking Chinese copies of the Bergeon - fine until you look at the business ends, and then you notice the little forks are so badly ground as to be useless - had to use a wedge and rat-tailed files plus a very fine grindstone to get them to a usable profile.
Fine if you don't mind some faff, but otherwise, get the kosher tool - the potential damage you could do to an expensive watch could devalue it by more than even the Bergeon option costs!
I bought the Chinese copy of the Bergeon from Amazon and the real deal forks from Cousins; the combination works a treat and overall cost was around £30.

What a great idea. Would you mind sharing a link to the one you bought from Amazon? I’m going to do the same. Thanks for this!

Sure - it's this one; the price seems to have crept up a little and the forks provided are actually pretty good (but not Burgeon good)

Thanks very much! I think it’s the one I already have. I’ll buy some forks.
