Post graduate loan could be something like an adult teaching qualification, Cert Ed, did she complete one of these courses?
My GF has shown me her payslips as she seems to be having a lot of stoppages
It appears that as well as tax and NI she is being stopped amounts for;
Student loan
Postgraduate loan
She states she only did a basic degree
No maters or anything like that
I’ve zero experience of any of this as worked since 16 and no uni
Why would it say post graduate loan?
Can anybody put it into basic terms re thresholds etc too please?
Thankyou

When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
You can only get a traditional student loan that is reclaimed via tax for a very small limited number of courses - she has not doing a nursing post-grad short qualification?
Her annual statement will show what she is repaying for but the quickest solution is to phone the student loan company...
You can get a PG loan for pretty much any PG course... https://www.gov.uk/masters-loan/eligibility
Ask payroll - they should have something on file as to why
It appears a box was ticked by her umbrella company that should not have been
Her student loan stands - the PG one is an error and now to try and sort....
