Go to WoS Oxford Street, talk to Joe if he's there, the guy's a legend of old school watch sellers.
I am heading to London with a couple of mates to brows watch shops this coming Sunday. Any must go to places people think we need to hit? We will be going to the Burlington arcade and WOS on regent street.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

New Bond Street
Selfridges oxford street
Mappin and Web on regent street

'Arrods.
And just along the road is the Seiko boutique.

The Oris boutique provides a nice relaxed watch viewing experience.
My advice would be to get there pretty swiftly, particularly the Burlington Arcade, as they all close early on a Sunday.
Give ALSAL Watches on the Strand a try, they have a wide variety of watches on display and at very reasonable price's.
Let's keep these small family run business's going.
Wempe -- New Bond Street
William & Son -- Bruton Street. Wonderful selection of unusual pieces -- see their website -- but not open on Sunday.
Endless one-make boutiques in New Bond Street.
Sadly most of the watch boutiques on Bond Street are shut on Sunday and don’t even have a window display to look at, JLC, ALS, VC, Breguet, Blancpain...all closed, Omega is open, Rolex, Montblanc, Breitling, Wempe are too.....not sure about Patek, Richard Mille or Panerai
Think you'll be quite disappointed with Burlington Arcade, although I've not been there for over a year.
Another vote for the Seiko boutique just down from Harrods.
Shame that Watchfinder, Royal Exchange is closed on Sundays as there's an Omega and Bremont boutique in there
Head to the museams, only place you'll find a rolex in a glass case in London.

Grays Antiques on Davies Street tend to have a good selection @ some of the dealers there.
Thanks everyone. The plan is below. Hopefully the stores won’t close too early!
- Selfridges oxford street
- Watxhes of Switzerland oxford street
- Mappin and Web on regent street
- Omega boutique regent street
- Burlington arcade near regent street
Then walk down old/new Bond Street and see what’s open!

Don’t forget Goldsmiths in Victoria Street...
Only joking! 😀

Great question, hope doing the same myself soon.
Looks like I might have a surprise last minute trip to London tomorrow for a couple of days - can anyone recommend a good place where I can look at AP and VC watches?
Ideal that’s great. Thanks for the help :-)
Stab vest and a bodyguard?
Also Daniel Bourn Vintage watches, Green Park House, 15 Stratton St. and the Watch Club, Royal Arcade, Bond street.
Watch Club is a good call. I would recommend Gray’s Antiques market as you are in Bond St. Probably a dozen different watch sellers in there. But it’s closed on Sunday.

Trotters Bethnal Green Rd . I’m not joking either ! A lot of football agents take the young Pro’s to the shop for a Rolex .
But then I read Sunday ?!? That’s going to be an issue a lot of the jewellers still work traditional hours I’m afraid so most will be empty window displays and cages over the windows
Back in the day I’d have recommended Austin Kaye but sadly it is no more
You might just be better hitting Selfridges dream room and checking if WOS on Regent St is open . Oxford Street also has a few brand boutiques and Bond Street loads . But please do check Sunday opening hours
