Pink is a common colour for houses in rural parts of the Brixham and Torbay area. I think it is a traditional colour but don’t know the history.
Years ago I did a sailing course in Brixham. On the way there and on the way back we called in at a pub.
Everything after this is memory from over twenty years ago so may well be wrong...
It was a big old pub near but not in Brixham. It wasn't far from the main road. You wouldn't know you were near the coast.
It could, I suppose, be further from Brixham than I remember.
It stood in its own grounds.
They had two HUGE dogs, mastiffs I think but big even for mastiffs.
A lot of pink (possibly purple) - I think it was pink inside, the wife thinks it was pink outside.
There was some TV documentary or press connection, possibly related to custody of a son (but that certainly could be mis-memory)
That's really all I can remember about it (and some of that may be wrong).
Anyone local to the area know anything about it?

Neapolitan mastiff and a English mastiff many years ago. I was there as my Aunties wedding was down the road.
Dogs were very docile and would just sprawl themselves out where ever they wanted. We meet up for family get together now and then but sadly no dogs these days as far as I know
Thanks!
This is the 'pink' I remember...
As soon as you said the dogs I knew where you were talking about! Amazing old place.
A vague 20 year memory and the place is pinpointed.
This forum never ceases to amaze.
