I've been looking for a "blingy" divers watch, did you do this yourself?

It's a pretty simple, subtle mod & the whole thing doesn't work out very expensive - I think "all in" it was around 300 ish.

I've done my final tinkering on this one - & smoothed & polished the bezel insert...

No it is completely original (except for the Isofrane strap ofc). It is a limited edition (50 watches) that was made in 2010, referred to as Dime MD (named after a JP lifestyle magazine). I am not sure it was ever sold at ADs, this watch was bought directly from the magazine, and it has no Seiko reference number. Lovely RG plated shroud and an absolutely fantastic dial.

Had a few but they always got moved on for some reason or another, here's one of them but lately wanted to get back into tunas but funds didnt allow, so tried a sharkey and then modded it for a laugh, its ok and does a job(some may be upset ) if I buy again i would get one of the bigger Emperor ones

I only have the much smaller solar tuna, but love the aesthetic. It's a perfect holiday watch.

Next stop, Marinemaster. Question is, which one...

Plenty of inspiration on this thread!

Was disappointed to miss out on one of those when they were in the sale a year or so ago, looked like an excellent holiday watch, and at about 180 an utter bargain.

Taken for the sunshine thread, but shows the details I really like about this watch - the wavy dial, the domed crystal, smooth bezel insert.

I have a few watches - but this & the Garmin are getting all the wrist time at the mo.

Yeah, they're worth every penny. I was surprised how slim it is as well. It can easily fit under a shirt cuff! Great for running, swimming and relaxing in the evening, so definitely my holiday go-to

I found three in John Lewis, bought and sold them all here at cost + P&P. Each time I see a pic I wonder why I didn't keep one!

It is enormous (in numbers) but doesn't wear or weigh like it. What a great watch

Might be as it's a limited edition with a crazy wee wooden chest with a coin from a shipwreck that ramps the cost up
