You need one with 1000m on it just in case you go snorkelling.

I don't have multiples. but I always like to have at least one of them in the box. One of my all-time favourite watches.

My '007, in various guises... I love the concentric circle dials on these!

    That’s a very cool watch

These two for me. I bought the snarky sharkey as a cheap way to try the size and shape however it is a very good quality watch for the money. It no longer gets worn as I bought the Seiko soon after and it’s my favourite grab and go watch.

I do like S.Ls blue case version as well.

    Edit... I tell a lie!
I forgot I also have the kinetic GMT tuna as my holiday watch

I obviously need to thin the collection if I can’t remember the watches I actually own! (Not a stealth sales post)

The watch Seiko should have made (IMHO)

    • Yobokies Stainless shroud
    • Domed crystal (Tempus watch mods)
    • Watch Gecko Bracelet

If only I could source a ceramic bezel insert...

Picked mine up on SC for a song.

Wondered why it took me so long to feel the Tuna love.

    Longines COSD.

I'd like a 'proper' Tuna (as in a monocoque case model) at some point, quite happy to make do with my SBBN031 until then though.

This is the best looking Tuna ever IMO

I love the hands on them, just don’t like the earlier minute hand the way the centre covers the hour hand.

I had one a couple of year ago and my Dad wanted it, it’s the only Watch I’ve really regretted letting go and I’ve sold plenty of older Seiko’s that are in irreplaceable condition now.

That Scubapro is the bomb, Jason.

For me the ultimate Tuna is this one

I'm really liking these vintage Tuna's and they are ageing so well, this watch has so much charm and its got me searching for 6159-7010's now!

I don't own either but I'm interested in hearing your reasoning.

Of course it is, why bother with a Tuna when you can have a moody "Sea Shepherd"

Sapphire crystal, NH35 movement, and a better bracelet. The 120 click bezel is excellent, and unlike Seiko, the Sharkey customer service is renowned. I am a retired retailer, and it's the norm for people to believe the original is always the best, but believe me, this isn't always the case. I also have the Sharkey Tuna, and that is excellent as well. Both watches are infinitely better than my Seiko SKX009. Despite owning three Seiko watches, and having owned many more, I don't believe they offer good value for money any more.

Does the Sharkey have any manufacturing iso rating? Would you trust it if you went diving with it? Do you know what metals are used to manufacture the case/bracelet?

If only Seiko had realised that they could have improved their watch simply by adding their own bottom-end movement...
