    Rolex Clasp code query

    Hi, my wife's Lady Date is a 2002 Y serial. When i looked at the clasp code it shows 62510D.
    I thought the letter D corresponds to 1979 not the early 2000s?

    62510D is the bracelet reference, the date code should be top right

    If anyone hasn't seen it before, this is an article I wrote some years ago for the UK's pawnbrokers that gives an introduction to Rolex bracelet numbering systems. I'm sorry, but you may need to load the images separately and then zoom in to read more easily.
