Rolex Clasp code query

Hi, my wife's Lady Date is a 2002 Y serial. When i looked at the clasp code it shows 62510D.
I thought the letter D corresponds to 1979 not the early 2000s?

I can just make out "AD3"
which makes it March 2003 :-)
