Doubt it's been shopped, the light reflected across the crystal and bezel looks very consistent. I think I'd like it more in a non-DLC case.

It is an interesting mod, and whilst I am not sure it gels completely, I am really drawn to the fact that the dial has quarter numerals and linear indices, and the bezel has 1/6th numerals and linear indices. The combination of the two really does look like it was designed together, with combinations of lines aligning with lines, numerals to lines, and lines to numerals. looks good.
I think it needs the hands to be white to really stand out..

The problem with "flat" polished steel hands is that at some angles the metal part "dissappears" (and all that can be seen is the lume). Rolex curves the hands... so no matter the angle, some part of the hand will always reflect light.

The Corgeut / Bleiger PVD watches from Ali-Express and Manbushijie have that case (with a different bezel & crown)
The watches are fitted with the 8215 Miyota movement, so a straight swap is do-able.

If it is a bastardised Everest then hopefully it'll reversible. Otherwise a waste of time and of a good watch. IMHO.

I have done something similar with a pocket watch case I filled with Parnis parts.
And a handwind Vostok which was installed into an £8 Soki sub-a-like watch case.
It is very simple to reverse the process.

The Vostok case is still brand new and stickered up - something we should be aware of should a BNIB Everest come up for sale with a brand new unworn case & bracelet, where the internals have been round the block a few times.

It must be a photoshop. We don't have mods here...
