    Cartier Santos 100 question

Hello - I'm currently looking at a couple of pre-owned Santos 100's from some reputable sellers with paperwork. I have noticed though some have "Swiss Made" written on the back whereas some do not. Is this indicative of anything or would there be a reason for this?

Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question..

Both my wife's Cartier (Santos and Panther) are marked "Swiss made".

It might be worth ringing a Cartier AD or Cartier and asking about this. Seems a bit odd that Cartier would use different marks on the same model.

Have you checked that both carry the same "Cartier" hidden signature on the dial?

Whoever does not know how to hit the nail on the head should be asked not to hit it at all.

Yup both have the secret marking.

Btw the watch I’m looking at (without Swiss Made) is from a reputable brick and mortars shop and comes with original paperwork. I’m just curious as to why there would be some models without this marking.
