Nice one, Tudor really seem to be doing great stuff at the moment.

I got mine in about 3 weeks. Not sure what the fuss in about and that was from AD in a busy shopping centre that I had no history with.

I've a pair of omegas for sale with the hope of getting one of these. I tried one on at ine the local AD last week that was surplus to their lists, and have been quoted a maximum of 6 weeks wait.

I think they are readily available now, which is good news for those who haven’t got one!

It’s still my favourite watch, 9 months down the line. Which is very unusual for me, as something invariably comes along to knock the existing chart topper off its perch in 6 months, max!

Really excellent to hear this. My wedding is coming up in the summer and hope I'll be wearing one on my big day.

    I’ve tried two ADs today
One I have history with and have spent quite a lot - don’t seem interested
Another - telling new 6-12 months but do I want to go in and have a look at other watches over refreshments?
No - I just want the watch....

Anybody spotted one available? On bracelet ?

As I said a few comments down the Trafford centre had 1 left when I came away on Saturday, on a bracelet. Maybe a long shot but worth giving them a ring if you are at all local?

Tried one on a week or so back, was just sat in the window. The AD simply has 10% refundable deposit (they couldn't care about history so long as deposit paid) and 6 week wait.

Went to my local AD today, they had none available. Said if I put 10% deposit down I would go 4th on the list but could not tell me how long the wait would be.

Spoke to a couple more today

Much better - one says to expect one this month
Another said it won’t be long but had one on leather

Both very courteous, and miles better than the guys I’ve spent a lot with

So we will see - potentially will be offered more than one I guess!

It seems that the leather strap version is more available than the bracelet version. Also, the bracelet, if ordered separately, comes in 3-5 working days so might be a solution to reduce the waiting time if you really want one...

I've considered one, but the faux rivets put me off the bracelet. I actually think it looks great on the Tudor nato, and I'm not normally a nato guy at all.

    Hope you enjoy it, OP!

I had been on the list for a bracelet version from my local AD and had not heard anything for 3 months, so started to ring around towards the end of November last year. Everyone was extremely courteous to me, both Mallory's and Deacon's offered me a leather there and then. Fraser Hart in Cribb's rang back 2 weeks later and offered me a leather. My AD then rang the weekend before Christmas with a bracelet (which I picked up, 12 months 0%) Then in January Fraser Hart rang again, this time with a bracelet and today Pragnell's rang back with a bracelet if I wanted it.
Pragnell's said they were getting 2 a month, generally 1 bracelet, 1 strap.

These are well beyond my budget but if money was no object I would pick a bb58 up as my first purchase.

The BB58 is a nice watch if you ask me. Good moderate fit. Maybe a bit overhyped these days, but on the other hand is a really good package!
I hope Tudor will make some more variations :)!

Enjoy and wear in good health! :D
Now you can't go back haha, enjoy this wonderful hobby :D!

I like what Tudor have produced in recent years.. the 58 is a great piece slimmer than the regular BB range with more than a nod to the original Submariner..

Picking up my Tudor BB58 on Sunday

Got a call from the AD in the week and picked up my Tudor BB58 yesterday.
Apologies if this is a stupid question but is it normal for the AD to keep the hang tag? They told me that they need to keep it for their records and as this is my first purchase of a luxury watch I wasn’t sure if this was the norm?

You should have held back a few hundred quid and said you’d pay the remainder upon receipt of the hang tag.

If you mean the small rectangular tag with the serial number then yes, but I wouldn’t be bothered if I didn’t have it.

I didn’t get the coffin and I don’t see why anyone would want it.

It’s a mass produced item it will never have the same value as a vintage Rolex. Don’t get hung up on the bits that sit in a drawer just enjoy the watch.
