    Didn’t like the Tudor but.....

I visited a local jeweller today to try a Tudor GMT- the first one I’d seen in their window. Unfortunately it really didn’t appeal to me - a shame since I thought I’d love it.

However I did fall in love with this:

In reality I didn’t need another watch but as most readers will know this is an addictive and expensive hobby! I blame this forum....

It’s gorgeous the silver dialled version especially in person.

It’s certainly got a look to it a bit of a Ulysse vibe imo
I suspect a bit marmite to many but I’d have one definitely

I thought the blue dial version would be the one for me - but the silver blew me away.

Lovely watch, it’s the white dial on bracelet that is catching my eye at the moment.

yes I went looking at the blue thinking i'd love it but was very underwhelmed, just a bit too dark a blue.

the silver and the white I need to look at in the flesh.

I too was left underwhelmed by the GMT but I have seen these when passing Heathrow a few times and they do look good in the metal, on a blue Omega style rubber it would look fantastic.
If I were looking for a new divers watch this would be top of the list.

As Mark says above, this is a bit of a marmite piece. But wouldn’t life be dull if we all liked the same thing...

I have one too - Just a bit more difficult to see the date on the grey dial vs the other colours...

The date window at 6 seems naturally more difficult to read on the blue too, perhaps it’s smaller on these models.

I wish they made a non date variant.

It's a fun colour scheme and a quality piece. Is the bezel as hard to turn as previous generations?

I'm a huge fan of the silver dial, not least because of the blue indices and the subdued dial printing. It manages to look subdued and stealthy, but in a highly legible and quite blingy way.

I've come very close to buying this in Heathrow duty free a few times. Kind of wish I had, as when I first looked at it it was £3000 on bracelet duty free price. Now it's a lot more.

Its not the silver colour per se (although I don't think it looks as good as the blue), but that wavy pattern on it. Why?????

Good choice. Since I bought my SM last September it’s all I have worn, the others have not had a look in ... I’m starting to get worried.

That model, with the date in the right place - or the non-date version for me.
It's just a matter of time...

I know there is already a PSA out for them and they are not that hard to come by but...
Ernest Jones on Cheapside have 2 GMT, one each on a nato and leather and a PO1 sitting in the window.
May be of use for someone

Also a big fan of the non wavy gloss model. Can't quite get on with the helium escape valve, but great watches nonetheless.
