A week ago I treated myself to my first Panerai.
Anyway, after always thinking they are too big, I can honestly say I have not had it off my wrist.
I know that they are real strap monsters, so put a PM into Pavel, who I have had a number of straps off over the years and been nothing but impressed. I know many of you guys use him too.
Forward to today. Pavel has kindly sent me few straps to try out.
Blown away by the quality and approach.

Got a strap from Pav a month or two ago, although over IG. Great for money and would 100% buy again. Even came with spring bars.
Very nice. Were it me I'd choose the lighter colours, especially the greys and tans - love how they look and helps make the ensemble look less bulky

Very nice looking straps - dark brown (dark stitch) would be my pick on that watch.
Pav's straps are an absolute steal! I've had 2 - one off the shelf as such, the second, made to the millimetre to my request. Its PERFECT. Supple... dark brown oiled leather. You could spend x3 the price and not come close to these. The buckles are chunky, quality items too.
To those who haven't yet bought one... you'll get a pleasant surprise when you find out off Pav just how reasonable these are!

Having bought a watch from Pav with one of his straps still attached I can say they are brilliant quality and very comfortable.
For that PAM I would go dark brown, dark stitch (I would for all PAMs)
i have several of Pav's straps,workmanship second to none,hard wearing and very comfortable.

It seems Pav makes great straps and provides equally commendable service.
As a fellow member here he deserves all the support we can provide. He probably is also more reasonably priced. As well as local to members in UK. So a lot of upsides to sourcing straps from him.
Having said that, he is not the only game in the town. This is a mini industry. There are custom strap makers in different corners of the world and quite a few of them make excellent straps.
I’m wearing one of Pav’s as I type this. To echo the sentiment of others, they are outstanding.
Another thumbs up for Pav. I have a few and have always been impressed. I know a while ago it said he was taking a break on his Etsy page, but he doesn’t seem to be on Etsy now?.
