    Sub LV Kermit help!

    Hi,

Hoping the TZUK family can help me out on this one :)

I’m currently looking to purchase a 2007 Sub LV kermit.

Something I am unsure of is the braclet on this watch - it does not have polished side links and instead has brushed finish on the sides that match the rest of the bracelet.

The side of the case and the side of the clasp are polished but the side of the links are a dull brushed finish.

This particular model doesn’t have the laser etched Rolex on the inner wheel.

My question was on this model would the side links originally have been polished or a brushed finish? (The model number stamped on the braclet with this watch is 93250) - I want to check the the bracelet hasn't been reconditioned to a brushed finish if the OEM was polished.

    many thanks

Yes the 93250 had brushed sides, however that's not to say they haven't been touched up via refinishing.
    Hope that helps.

Yep polished clasp with satin flip lock and links.
    Good luck, they are superb.

Thanks, although the side of your bracelet looks polished in this pic!

Watch on the left is a 2010 LV... never been serviced or polished etc watch on right is a new Explorer II

Not the best pic, but hopefully shows brushed edges on the LV and polished edges on the Explorer

    Hi

End links should be brushed; clasp sides polished and flip lock brushed.

    Cheers

Strangely the 16600 bracelet has polished sides, ref 93160. Easy to mix them up.

    Concur

I'm wearing my 16600 today. What a superb watch but a league below the original LV

Any idea if they’re interchangeable? Will the SD bracelet fit the sub?

16660 and 16600 SD bracelets are SEL, ends won't fit the sub well.
links interchangeable and clasp, if you don't mind the diff finish on the side.
