Looks great, but how thick is the case? The original was very thick I think.
Looks nice with the orange dial and hand set....perhaps the dimensions are a little on large side?

Wanted - Damasko DC57
I'd imagine this to be a chonkyboi also given the width
I have a ds action with one of those movements are it is the most accurate mechanical I have owned. 1 or 2 seconds a day I reckon
Looks great and a reasonable price as well

Sad to see it is a screwdown caseback, when the orignal was a front loader (hence the facetted ring between crystal and bezel which they have kept for the looks).
Otherwise it looks very tidy

Looks great , love the colour of the dial , very nice
I’d love to see a profile pic. The current version was too flat and long for me sadly. This one looks like a cracker!

Hoping to try one of these in Vienna this weekend
If they’re available yet....
I've always wondered, is it pronounced Sertina or Chertina?

Shame they didn`t decide to re-issue the DS2 PH 1000M - i`d be up for one of those at this price!
Hopefully a great used buy very soon :)
Got to be a better buy than a Doxa imho.
It's just a matter of time...
Fairly recently bought a Certina diver, and of all my watches it is the one that has impressed me the most in terms of quality for the cash (and is about the only one normal folks ever notice and comment on, funnily enough!), so I suspect this is going to be a winner.
Orange is a great and traditional (if there is such a thing...) colour for a diver's watch, and I have to say I love the boldness of this. Might have to find the ££££!
Vintage Certina divers look great, shame this one is on the large size rather than the more vintage sizes that are popular now.The case back on the original vintage DS is just brilliant.
I’ve had a few Certina’s now and each time I’ve sold I’ve regretted it.
Very solidly built and whack in an 80hr power reserve what’s not to like.
Really you could buy this watch potentially try for a discount from a grey source and sell it back on with minimal loss . Accept with this one I’d break a habit and actually keep it.
For those who haven’t tried one on the Crown action is superb , built quality very good , lume is reasonable. All told a very good option
Looks cool, good for the summer

Any thoughts on alternative strap options?

Phoenix do a really nice Black/Grey/Orange which I wear on my Ollech & Wajs - slimmer than a lot, and better proportioned stripes.
Certina diver watches are an absolute bargain. Huge quality for not much money and they look fantastic.
I’m a big vintage and modern Certina fan. I think they knocked it out of the park with the first ph200m reissue while it’s on the large side it gave it mass appeal. Echoing previous sentiments on it holding its value and being complemented a lot.
With the ph500m reissue I think you miss the yellow of the tritium on an orange dial (as apposed to a black one) far more. Will have to wait and see this in person - would love to see any on the wrist if anyone picked one up?

If you mean the O&W - had it since last September, and really can't fault it. Paid £900 brand new from Page & Cooper (lucky me). The level of detailing is quite superb - better than the previous generation of ownership. It's a very easy watch to live with - quite small at 40mm and certainly comfortable despite the long lugs that vex some people. It tends to be a High-Days-&-Holidays wear for me, as I want to keep it as tidy as possible. Keeper.
Bit of a bump as I couldn’t find anything with the search function.
Did anyone go for one of these. Interested on thoughts and pictures if you don’t mind.
I’m wearing mine today, really like a bit of orange on a cold day!
I’m a big Certina fan, I think they make great watches for not much money, I’ve had a few but this one and the original PH200M re-issue are the last two I’ve got after selling the DS Action yesterday.
The dial could be lifted a little by some raised markers, but otherwise I can’t fault it. The push down bezel is a delight as well, very secure and lines up perfectly. If you like orange divers, then it’s a good contender. This one competes with a Doxa Sub 300T for orange dial wrist time, the latter was significantly more expensive but the Certina compares very well.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, they look great value and I love the orange. Looks good and maybe one for the future I think.
