    Sinn discontinuing 75x series

According to Worn and Wound Sinn are discontinuing the 756 and 757 series as well as the T2 and U1000, so perhaps grab one while you still can if you want one.

I have both a 756 Diapal and a 757 UTC which are excellent watches.

That’s interesting, the 75x are a good looking set of watches, I am not sure they are big sellers though.
The U1000 has been out of production for a while and is a love it or hate it watch (I love it and regret not buying one)
The T2 is only a few years old. I guess they are not selling either.
What will they replace them with?
I hope it’s not more ‘shiny tool watches’ they seem to be releasing a lot of them recently.

Yes. And considerably cheaper than via Jura.

What do we think - consolidating the product line, or is this the drum roll for new model designations from Sinn?

The 7xx series always had some of the softest resale value of all their lines. I think the new 936 is a more compelling watch for most people with it's more versatile dial layout and 60 minute counter.

Shame, I had always thought a 757 Diapal would be one of the watches I would eventually own.
Such a great looking chronograph, expecially in that grey-dialled Diapal variant.
But I have a realy peeve with the standard 7750 sub-dial layout, it seems any time I am timing stuff (usually reffing matches or similar) they start on the hour and the main minute hand obscures the minute sub-dial. That's why I never got round to buying one.
