    Trio in Blue

    Hi guys,

When I think that I was never attracted by blue face watches in particular.....
    Now....totally in love.....
Edit: real pictures here not a link nobody follows
    :)

It might be a current fashion, but a nice blue dial has always looked good.

I’ll always have a preference for a black dial in most watches, with a small number I’d exceptions, but there is more than enough space for some colour.
It's just a matter of time...

They look very nice. I've wanted a blue Seamaster for ages.

Very nice, I've always preferred Blue dial watches over Black or any other colour for that matter.

Very nice trio! Blue is also my favourite - but it can be a miss sometimes - the hues of blue are quite broad. A few success cases in my collection. The magnificent Ming 19.01

    Another Ming, the original 17.01

And finally Seiko got it rather right with this turtle -

Oh yes .. my current blue pair:

That is very nice. I was very tempted by a blue face DJ41 my local AD had recently in December. Big fan of the blue face cartier santos too but not got the budget for either at the moment sadly

As blue dials go, I think these take some beating, although they are a bugger to do justice to in a photo...

    Trio in Blue

I have three blue dial watches at present - love them all although I think the Seiko might be on its way out...

My only blue face watchwise. Glycine Airman 9 on bracelet, has a very subtle sunburst effect if you see it up close.

Had a Breitling Avenger GMT blue face which I stupidly let go.

A trio of Seiko Blue dial limited editions:

First one is the 2003 Alpinist Quartz GMT SSASS edition

Next up is the German issue SLA015 MM

And finally the Hodinkee US only Alpinist

I do wish Seiko would stop issuing Blue LEs

    Esquire blue watches

Bit of WIS nerdyness , In the first 8 watches advertised in March 2020 edition of Esquire, 5 are blue dial. In order of appearance
    Blancpain
    GO
    Breitling
    Tag
    Chopard

The other 3 were all white faced.
