Lovely. Well done👍
Hello guys,
After a few weeks of loooong nights of learning, comparing and convincing the better half...it finally happened
I was daytime dreaming about a Panerai for more than 10years now but the real love came when I've seen this one on Panerai's website.
And for the first time since I'm into watches my wife agreed that this one is a stunner.
Sorry for the pics quality.
I promise better ones soon.
Hope you'll like it because I know that I do.....in fact I can't take my eyes off of it.....that's pretty dangerous when driving:)

Beautiful dial, these Panerai blue sunbursts have really got my attention recently since the Equation of Time model was showcased on the forum last week.
Lovely pickup, well done, maybe don't wear it whilst driving until you can look away from your wrist consistently
Great choice Sir! If I can ever afford a ‘luxury’ watch it will be a Panerai.
Thank you guys!
Just looooving it!
Happy as Larry! :)
I’ve never had a Panerai but that dial is definitely one of my favourites
Dan
They know how to do a domed sapphire crystal don't they. Stunning!
Nice catch, enjoy

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.

Stunning......
Ooh I say, beautifully simple esp the blue.
Guys....just skipped a few heart beats when tried to set the exact time and realised that the small second does not stop.....
Then ...in panic read an article stating that no hack second on P3000 ....back to life
F..k....almost lost my breath....imagine what was in my mind: sure that the watch is 100% authentic but faulty....:(
Yes it does look good ,that blue really does work on all the pams I’ve seen .

Congratulations and welcome to the world of Panerai.
I went for the same dial a couple of weeks ago in the form of a 1033. I’ve been the same in that I can’t take my eyes off it. The colours vary from dark purple to silver depending on the light and angle.
A couple of grotesque photos of mine.
And with its 8 day brother.

What is the retail on this one? I really like the blue dial. Congrats!
Many congratulations. Here was mine - now replaced with 670.
Enjoy!

I love the blue dial Panerai, I've been really tempted by the 1033 but I just can't get past the "automatic" text on the dial. Don't know why they've added it to a lot of the newer Panerai.
Can't get enough of the joy of being able to post pics on the thread uaing Tapatalk

Congrats bro
Just a quick question !
If I ever scratch that gorgeous crystal is there any chance to polish it?
Don't even know if it has AR coating on the outside or not...

I managed to spend some more time with the blue dial 1028 at WOS on Regants Street over the weekend. Didn't make it to the Panerai boutique unfortunately.
Love this 42mm variant. Would need to spend a bit more time with it and see what it looks like on leather rather than strap.
Also need to have a hard think whether to trade up the 560 for it at some point.
Didn't get a good comparison if the 42mm is smaller (especially lug to lug) than the 44mm 560.
That's a great watch, congrats! Wish I had the wrist to pull it off
Some new straps...
The python one is from Mansarea Spain(thanks for the hint ) the other one is homemade in Romania
Both of an oustanding quality

One more...I know it's a marmite one.
I am thinking about sending it to a friend to trim down the edges and make it look normal
What do you think?

Those straps are a great match. I wouldn't wear them all the time but to switch it up they're cool.
Re the horn back, there's a case for leaving it as is for a real change in look, but the trimmed down version will be a lot better for regular use and goes brilliantly with the dial.
