    Interesting ...I sort of have the opinion they should sell a few off and use it to give children free school lunches.

    Really interesting, a full time work. Think that each time that you open one of this clocks, you are opening the history of the royal family and the country. Thanks for sharing.

    Without derailing the thread too far, I agree they should be contributing more.

    The clocks themselves are essentially priceless though, and part of our national history. I’d prefer they were much more visible than being stuck in one palace.

    I think in this day and age it shames us as a country that kids (and adults) could almost starve yet many of them have smart phones, weird.

    If it were you who was responsible, would you be tempted to sneakily "refurbish" the clocks with quartz movements?
