    Felco Shock resist AS1130

I know the name of the sub forum is BMW, and in this case I believe this is more a German military watch but if you have any information on this little thing, it's for a friend of mine (not my watch)

    Thanks in advance

The AS 1130 is known as the Wehrmacht caliber
It was made on mass for the German forces during WW2. The vast majority of watches issued by the Wehrmacht have this movement. There are no D or DH markings on the case back but not every watch had them
Essentially if the watch had this movement it was likely made to support the German war effort.

I believe that this is a much later version of the same movement, more likely late 50s or early 60s.

I have had this watch for a few years and it is very much a civilian model of the type worn by most men in those days. I think they were called ‘wermachtswerk’ meaning essentially ‘military spec’ at this point.

BTW I think Eddie intended this thread to be the British sub-forum about any military watches so I think you are OK ;).
