For all the Seiko Alpinist Lovers

I just had an e-mail from Strapcode with their latest wares which had a very interesting article on the history of the Seiko Alpinist range.

I thought I would share it:

Thanks for posting. A decent bit of marketing from Strapcode, firstly by copying a lot of the content from what is the ultimate Alpinist article and then very quickly show some images of the bracelets that they sell.

To be fair, most people with SARB Alpinists look to buy Strapcode bracelets which are specifically designed for the watch. I have one myself, the 3D Oyster for my Hodinkee Blue US limited edition. You can buy OEM Seiko bracelets, but they are obviously a lot more expensive.

Was just at a Seiko roadshow earlier today. Saw both the new alpinists there. Very nice watches imo. Pretty tempted!
