I have one, obtained from a fellow MCGTGer. Phenomenally light, surprisingly accurate, very hard to fasten the clasp.
My thinking was that as my life revolves around wood, it would be a visible statement of the inner Green Man.
Also a no-brainer as to which watch I will wear at my funeral.
I would knot buy a wooden watch, it goes against the grain.

I wooden't buy one either. I'd leaf that to others.
I've been pining for one of these, but this has left me stumped...
I quite like them but their range is limited. They need to branch out more...

I think that the TZ members who like these watches should form a splinter group...
Which budding member is at the root of all this?
You'd be "bark"ing mad to buy one. Count me in then.... I like the drilled lugs
If the forum punnsters twig they'll larch on to this.

I would buy one but I am pruning my collection currently.
It’s good to see budding watch makers coming to the market.
I can see this being a big growth area for the watch market

My prediction is that this will all turn to ash. I wish there was an alderternative to take to the beech in Cypress. That would be the cherry on the cake for us elders. My friends Holly and Hazel would no longer need to wear their firs. Very poplar indeed. Yew are bound to lichen it.

This thread could have been a corker, but it's becoming a thorn in the side now.

I’ve heard the finish can run rings round other makes
I might buy a few of these and squirrel them away
Yew guys seem to have Cypress some inner tree puns, and are now making this thread very Poplar, I think Alder posts like this need revisiting time to time as these old Chestnuts are gold mines. I think Fur some time I have also been doing the same.
Anyway I found this a Laurel laughs but I have just Cedar getting out of the car so I have to shoot..
Please don’t Taxxus anymore with this puns......
This is driving me barkers, the thread has produced the root of creativity....
Think yew can palm us off with all these puns? I suppose some of you think they're a sight for sore bonsais. Afrormosia to the ears. But I reckon they're worth a kick in the crabapples.
This is all a bit mulch! You're very knotty boys...
This thread could could blossom in to something amazing. Maybe it should be a sticky...
I don’t understand why anyone would shrub their shoulders at the gags, lots of them are berry good. That said I have been drinking this afternoon and my sense of humour gets a bit strange when I am trunk
I was just thinking "plank-woodness this thread is withering on the vine" - but it seems some of you are arbor-ing other ideas and still palming us off with more dreadful puns...
I think we all need to step back to look at the bigger picture, otherwise we run the risk of not seeing the wood for the trees.....

Has anybody botany already?
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
Yew and me both.

Some of us are beginning to get too worked up over this thread. I think threads like these are one of the quercus of the forum that make it so enjoyable...

There have been some great puns on this thread, but that quercus one was an acer!
Fir goodness sake! I thought this thread had been felled but it is showing shoots of recovery. Plane madness!
