What lighting are people using these days?

Have had my camera in storage for the last couple of years and just dug it back out to begin snapping watches again. Before I was using a soft box with lights illuminating the soft box but I think I chucked the lights away and now looking to replace these. What types of lights are people using these days? Just checking the likes of amazon they all appear to be LED panels etc, is this where the market is now? I like my lights to be bright as I don't do moody pictures, I like lots of detail.

Anyone recommend some lights or guidance on what to look for these days?

    Thanks.

Many would query the description "Professional Photography Portable Photo Studio Light Cube Tent Soft Box" ... no way is it of professional quality but could produce reasonable results. If you have a largish window you could place the light box adjacent to it i.e. side-on but with a reflector on the inside i.e. reflector made of slightly crumpled matt side kitchen foil ... to reflect some light back towards the window. Light might not be as bright as a continuous LED light source but it would likely suffice provided a tripod is used. Contrast can be increased in post processing.

This s/h Bowens Table Top Studio set-up would be much better than your existing light tent and would likely give years of good service ... lights would be daylight balanced
