    PSA Beaverbrooks

    Afternoon all
I don’t know if this has been posted but on HUKD there’s a heads up for a Beaverbrooks extra 20% off code .
Worked on an Oris and an Aqua Terra which are already in the sale . I haven’t searched extensively but it might be worth it if you can find something on there.
    Code is YAYSALE20
    Hope this helps someone

Wow, that’s just took the Oris ProPilot Date down to £688. That’s just too hard for me to resist. Order placed. Good spot OP and thanks

The co-axial Railmaster works out at £2.6k. I was seriously tempted until I remembered I don’t have any work at the moment

Plus top cashback or Quidco can be used. The Omega is really nice.

I’ve just ordered one. Was tempted a few weeks ago at 3k and then missed out when another member posted a deal for 2.7ish.

Thanks for the heads up OP 😊

If I did that then the Skywalker would be the only thing beating the next day as the boss would have killed me.

I was about to post this.

Wish I had the funds but I don’t

Surely a bargain and on the bracelet too

Me too Colin, me too. It's been top of my want-list since it was launched. Being skint absolutely sucks.

I initially thought it hadn’t worked but continue scrolling down, especially if on a smaller screen, and you’ll see the discounted price.

Trust me and my battered credit card. It works.

£2,712 for an X33 on 0% over 24 plus Quidco. Be rude not to!

Not quite as special as some of the other purchases here, but they do have the new Citizen “Mears” Promaster Tough for about £180. May have to get one, my original is getting a little tired! If they are as good as my 20 year old one, it’s a lot of watch for the money 👍🏻

Yep as I predicted my X33 order has been cancelled!

Gutted as they said that the line has been discontinued by the supplier!

The Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot Date.

Figured I'd order it 1st then figure a way of affording it

I got the same line about it being discontinued between them and the supplier.

I'm a bit gutted tbh but probably for the best financially speaking, last time i use beaverbrooks though

Kept coming back to the discounted Railmasters on the Goldsmiths site. Did anyone manage to order one here?

Looking at the specs online, it says they’re ever so slightly bigger. 40mm as opposed to 38mm. Still worth a punt for the money 👍🏻

It's not good is it. I think I'd rather get a sold out message at the start rather than go through the process of ordering and paying.

Did they take the money (and need to refund) or place a hold on the card for the sale amount? Money should only be taken on dispatch. For something like this I would imagine most people using a credit card anyway for the cashback/air miles/insurance/0% limiting the limbo.

You might find the funds released back today or tomorrow about 3pm. Firms and banks are getting better and faster at this. I had a couple of orders cancelled before Christmas and it was 1-2working days rather than the 5 quoted.

You will probably find that they still have the watches in stock but did not want them discounted any further which this code discount code allowed and have cancelled the orders rather than honour the price their online system allowed with the code use. No doubt the cancelled watches will be back on site soon but without the ability to use any further codes.

If you want the watch maybe get it worked on under warranty if they are unable to replace it?

Yup that’s an option as the price is defo a keeper, could do without the hassle though! I’ll do some phoning and see what can be done.

Well, I was disappointed that my Skywalker order was cancelled but consoled myself with this which arrived from Beaverbrooks today.

Missed my last one which I sold and feels good to get another on the wrist.

Great looking piece , was considering this before the deal was pulled. Does this model have a different shade of blue to the vintage inspired version?

Yes quite a different piece to the CAW211P ‘McQueen’.
Crown on the right, different dial, different strap and (correct me if I’m wrong) slightly different movement which has now been superseded by the new in-house movement, hence this is now an old/discontinued model.

Been offline a couple weeks, was meaning to update on the faulty X-33.

Beaverbrooks have been outstanding! They had no others in UK stock but immediately offered to handle getting it repaired under warranty and offered goodwill for the hassle so I said okay. Then got updated to say Omega have a few still available so will swap for a fresh one. Result!

Must admit quite surprised how helpful the customer services lady has been, was expecting pretty shoddy being a high street retailer and all but honestly she’s on it like a pro

Brilliant outcome, exactly as hoped for.
