    Like it's namesake, somewhat large.

the largest freshwater body on earth, located in southern Siberia, Russia, north of Mongolia and China. Lake Baikal, in fact, accounts for about 20 percent of the world’s fresh water content. The lake is 636 meters long

Think they mean km not m.

Trying to love this range, but Oris just seem to churn out variations on a theme, a bit like the Speedy. MHO of course.

Oris are a brand with solid history, as soon as they manage to reduce the sizes of so many of their individual models I'll be "on-board".

    That is absolutely gorgeous.

And it's not too big either. ;-)

    As will many I think.
It really is a good looking watch, 42mm would be nice.

    Edit.
I assumed it was 44mm+. Not quite at 43.5 but still very thick and chunky.

I like it, but then I like pretty much every Aquis I see, and ended-up buying one. I think darker colours suit the style better, FWLIW.

They do wear large, and heavy I'm afraid - suits me personally - but they really won't be for everyone. They are, in all ways, a LOT of watch for the money.

Mine on a GGB strap -

43.5 mm doesn't appear to big on paper but their case design makes their watches feel thicker bigger and thicker. I'd really like this design in a slimmer package.

Holy crap, I've never noticed how huge those lugs on the Aquis are. Doesn't really work on a strap IMO.

Each to their own. The fact there's only 12mm between the lugs exaggerates the proportions somewhat. I will admit to wearing it on the bracelet more often though!

There's a lot I like about Oris but the lugs on the Aquis series are what puts me off. You're certainly limited on strap options.

If it's the size of the standard Aquis, at 43 mm or so, it'll wear small, more like a 42.

And I generally do not like gradient or fume dials, but that watch is gorgeous.

The newer Aquis case design is fairly slim and does not wear too large at all.
Wearing a Source of Life limited edition now.
