It’s probably the era, but I Just don’t like the style of these watches. They seem old-fashioned and a bit plain to me. I’d choose a Big Eye Chrono any day over this.

Longines have been producing some great watches of late from their back catalogue.
Do like the look of this one. Hopefully, they won’t make the same error they did with the dial of the 1942 heritage chronograph.

That does look very nice indeed.
    Best Regards - Peter

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.

I do like Longines watches...I have one or two myself.

On first glance ...Im not a big fan of this one though.

May well look better in the flesh I imagine?

Like everything about it except the chrono pushers - those should have been "mushroom" shaped.

According to Longines...link to L2.8274.73.0...it's £2,490. That's too rich for me, but I do like it.

I agree. It's an elegant watch, well sized at 40mm and kudos for not spoiling it with a date window. Not a fan of the pushers though.

It is all little steps isn't it.

    Use of heritage - tick
    Not too big - tick
    No date - tick
    Modern WR - No.

30m?????? £2 market stall watches can match that. Most watchmakers (including chronos) can do 100m with relatively little hassle, and 50m with ease. 30m is just a joke and puts this otherwise elegant watch into a very restricted market.

Never bothers me. The thought of submerging a watch with a leather strap in water just doesn’t appeal to me anyway.
