Have a 10 slot box with 10 slots filled but need to add another white dial piece to complete the collection....I’m definitely stopping after this. Have been offered GS SBGR319 on approval so will get to try at home pre purchase (AD slightly tricky to get to) and will move the birth month and year Seiko 7005 to its own solo box.
GS is limited to 350 pieces only.
Thoughts on the GS and it fitting nicely into what is a long term collection??
Never really considered GS but AD knows what I want and offered as option. GP Laureato /OP39/Transocean etc were all on the list of possibles.
I’m not a dress watch fan and if needed the Santos would be perfect anyway.

Just looked again and it has a date. I'd prefer the Omega Globemaster over the GS, I think it's quite underrated.
Smith's Air Ministry is a lovely thing.
I had about 20 possibles on list and then removed all divers etc. list much smaller thankfully. Will check out above but any other suggestions welcomed.

This is about as simple as it gets yet it has an old style elegance to it. Plenty of options - standard or top grade hand wind or auto, date or no date, 36mm or 40mm, choice of straps. Very reasonably priced as well.
I too am looking for a simple dress watch. Lovely though it is that GS has a date and wouldn’t meet my definition of a “simple 3 hander” - sadly the dateless GSs all seem to be rather pricey!
Stowa is a good suggestion, though I would prefer batons or Arabic numbers over Roman.
Also Nomos may be worth a look.
If I were in your shoes in terms of budget and type of watch you’re looking for I wouldn’t bother looking any further than the Rolex OP39. By far the most beautiful white dial 3 hander on the market IMO - the white is so crisp and the properptions so perfect. I tried one on a few months back and it was exquisite. The GS pictured is nice but I feel it’s very much an out and out dress watch whereas the OP39 is not only nicer aesthetically (subjective of course) but I think it’s a true sports/dress hybrid that can do it all.
OP39 is lovely and it is still worthy of consideration. The Seiko arrived today and my first impression was...”it’s OK but not great”....I like the idea of dials with character but at different angles those lines will irritate me. Bracelet is definitely NOT Oyster or Jubilee quality.

What on earth is going on with that dial!? I didn't realise in the first image you posted it has those lines. Not for me...
OP39 or try the Omega Globemaster any day over that
What are the other watches in your box? Just thinking might encourage best suggestions...

Ok it’s cream rather than white, only has 5 atm of WR and is distinctly vintage looking but the Baltic Hms001 is a simple 3 handed looker on a budget. Sorry can’t post a pic but there’s lots on their website.
Current (and permanent) box....the Seiko 7005 will move to its own space. I certainly prefer watches with a bracelet option but am certainly open to any suggestions.
