    Watch repair

    Hi guys,

A friend of mine is looking to have his dads watch restored, mainly for sentimental reasons and has asked me if I know anyone that can do it.

I immediately thought of Clockman but I don't think he's on the forum anymore (at least the search isn't bringing up his profile) so I'm wondering if there are any other recommendations.

The watch is a Seiko Yachtsman - possibly 50-60 years old model 6138-0011

    Any ideas?

    Rob

First choice for vintage Seiko is Duncan Thewatchbloke, long waiting times and bare in mind movement parts for the 6138 are is the rocking horse poo category for certain bits.
    Cheers..

Cheers for the reply, fella - and for the recommendation. I don't know much about the actual watch tbh but I'd imagine with it being old, it's not the easiest. I'll give Duncan a shout now. :]
