I'm looking to turn one of our bedrooms into my man cave. It will need to house some book cases and a decent size desk for my PC as well as my comfy armchair for when I'm banished to watch the football.
I'm seeking some inspiration for design ideas and colour schemes so would appreciate if anyone could share their man cave pics please or alternatively links to images that could help me. I'm not into ultra modern minimalist but happier with comfort if that is of any use

Look at some classic episodes of the Avengers, in particular John Steed's flat.

Although i was getting mine well underway, small garage conversion size room..... got as far as getting propped with various vintage toys /cars/ wall art. Got my leather wingback chair, with obligatory Union Jack Cushion... all good to go, then she goes and orders a running machine and plonks it straight in the middle of room.
I sold the chair in protest... :-(
One part of mine(used to be a double garage), advice is don't let it get too cluttered, I'm trying to pick a theme for each part, this part tends to get stuck with bits and pieces.
Essentials:
55" or bigger TV,
reasonable stereo and surround sound,
at least 4 recliners(mine are 2 x 2 seater layzeeboys),
foosball table combines with card table(mine is the cover for the foosball table will green felt on one side, came as one item),
dartboard(buit a cupboard round it partly to hide it when not in use but also to put pictures on it)
coat stand or coat room,
en suite(so mates don't need to stagger through the house and pee in a cupboard),
secure cupboard/safe for valuables(watches etc.).
You can just see to the right of the image a sign that says MAN CAVE, EAT, DRINK AND BE LAZY, still haven't found a place to hang it.
Do a search for mancave images on Google and there's loads but pick what you are interested in.
Samurai sword for sale(I have 5 others on another wall).

Ooh this sounds like fun...
I have a semi man-cave, in that it was a small bedroom that I turned into an office but the decoration in terms of colour, furnishings and hanging stuff on the walls was my exclusive choice.
So on colours I would go for modern blues such as Dulux lost lake, Breton blue or denim drift.
I had a curved corner desk made with matching shelf above for my watch and photography books and various accoutrements. I used a large Ikea Kallax to fill one wall, filled with my books and drawers etc, then basically covered the walls in random order with pics, prints or artworks of my choosing. These were things dear to me - pics of kids, wife, hobbies, old cars, sports pics etc. Oh and on the desk an anglepoise lamp because I always wanted one.
I guess with a bigger room I would have put in a sauna, a bar, some home cinema set up and/or comfy seating arrangements.
Sounds like an ideal project, hope this has given you some food for thought.

We have a study in our house which is off the main house and on a slightly lower level. Looks out onto the garden and has patio doors at one end which lead into the garden.
Thing is, it’s a long, thin room so I’m a bit stuck as to what I could with it. Stuff in there is mainly mine - so have a decent hifi system, desk, monitor and so on.
Really want to change it up so that it is used as more than a dumping ground and is somewhere relaxing to be and to work from when needed.
I like the colours mentioned above. Might be a good place to start.
Here's my man cave - admittedly a little different from most but my haven!

You need a desk......
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
Bit of a man cave update... I bought this off Hodinkee recently and just got it back from the framers today...
A must-have for all WIS man-caves :)

I’m thinking of devoting a corner of the garage to a punchbag, and either a rower or decent spin type bike - not sure I could do the whole man cave thing, but I’ll have a separate lounge and a home office to hide in.
It's just a matter of time...
This is mine. Took me 9 months to complete it. Was formally a workshop.
How about something Ken Adam James Bond-ish?
