Some old military dogs. Most of these have found new homes now. I'll forever regret selling that NOS Seiko Gen 2 non-lume.

Cal 564 Omegas. This is just a few. I have actually quite few of the 168.022 (cal 564) and 168.023 (cal 751) omegas and their bracelets.

Box + papers automatic Technos Sky Diver from 1979

(Not actually the same watch, I bought and sold this one, because there was another box (sans paper) floating around waiting to be grabbed)

A pair of lates 60s / early 70s Technos Sky Divers in restoration queue:

I've got loads of doubles, triples and foursomes of some of the Seiko 7A38's in my collection.

Here's a 3-way side-by-side shot I took yesterday, that I doubt will be appreciated by many.

    3 X blingy 7A38-6109 SAA114J.

I finished building up the one on the right from a salesman's sample case yesterday:

Not everybody's cup of tea, admittedly, but certainly a different slant on the 'diver' theme.

    Here is my latest pair:

I bought the Iaxa last summer and like it a lot. I think it is the prettiest watch in my collection and in superb condition cosmetically.

The Courtébert popped up for sale in January and I couldn't resist. The blue chapter ring and flashes of orange give it a character all of its own. What has struck me the most is that it appears that the date wheel is polished aluminium (or perhaps coated plastic?) which I have tried to capture below. It is something I haven't seen on a watch before.

Both have an ETA 9150 Dynotron movement but unfortunately they work sporadically at best so definitely need a service. That'll only happen at some point in time so I can only admire them at the moment.

I have seen photos on the net of a Courtébert with an identical dial to the Iaxa but don't feel the need to add that but do have my eyes open for any other variants. Just hoping that I don't find one as the money woudd be better off in the serving pot.

Here's my trio of Seiko 7A38-6020 SAA041J's I snapped at the weekend.

I'd just finished fettling the one on the left, now fitted with a NOS bezel, crystal, dial, etc.

One down; two more still to go ....

I presume you have seen the new GMT version recently released?
I think they are a nice twist.

I have - they certainly look nice but for the time being, they're only available as a 38mm. All my current SDs are 45mms whereas my first was a (now discontinued) 40mm bronze which I felt was too small and the steel and orange was a 42mm. I asked them and they said they don't know whether they'll be producing in either 42 or 45mm yet.

Yours is so like my old one that it actually is my old one - you bought it from me, Greg. The black and orange combo is why I've bought the incoming PVD version.

The trio is now complete after a 5 week wait for the PVD to arrive from the States. All 45mm and all ETA movements (standard in the limited edition bronze).

I have incoming (hopefully tomorrow) the new blue dialled king turtle. When it arrives, alongside my 773, I will own 2 blue dialled 6309 re-editions.

    Doesn't strike me as healthy.

Will post pics when it arrives.
