    Precista PRS-000?

On the back of the success of all the PRS-20 variants, I personally feel that a solid lug PAM homage would be a massive success for Eddie.

How about a case that’s 42mm, crown guards, screwed bars, Unitas 6497 (that might mean the case has to be 44mm), clear caseback, 100m WR, sapphire crystal and a choice of branded or sterile dials and black or brown leather straps.

Is this something people would be interested in?

    Any interest Eddie?

    So, like this:

It’s would be a nice idea however the crown guard will be a TM issue I think
As such it might lose some of the aesthetics
In addition Eddie did release the bronze diver that had hints of PAM (in my eyes at least)

    Edit - the PRS 30

I did think about the crown guard TM but there must be a way of designing it that doesn’t infringe TM but still achieves what we’d want?

One solution could be the use of a ‘1940s’ style case? Possibly beefed up a bit?

    Actually that’s a great idea - thanks!

Although I like the ETA/Unitas 6497, I don't like the size of cases required to house that movement although Stowa has done it in a 41mm being 12mm thick and 50mm lug to lug which makes it still very large for my taste.

The Unitas 6497 now costs CHF190.

Case and crown look good Eddie but personally I really don't like those dot-dials.

That is early my favourite dial layout... but I'm already assuming this will be to large and deep for my taste!

Sorry to stick my nose in but an alternative style of face and hands I feel looks good with this type of case design is something like these Lun tec watches.

It is all personal preference of course :

Eddie can you mock one up using the PRS-20 dial please?

My own ideal for such a homage would be with a mini fiddy 1950 style case possably 40mm( or at most 42mm) with 20mm drilled lugs, radiomir crown(no patented crown infringement) dial like Luminor 1950 PAM 663 (either sausage or sandwich) .Upper part of dial with PRECISTA in Smiths style font .

It probably wouldn't work because I'm going to have small seconds at 9. 42mm with 22mm lugs.

That sounds like you’ve decided to get it into production?

Are you going for the dial you have in the mock-up but with small seconds at 9?

Would you consider more contrasting lume and hands?

I am watching this with interest
    Brass hands maybe?

I know it's the logo but why not a sans-serif non script font? Just an opinion.

Would it also be possible to be a 200m rating? Or is that prohibitive with this design?

I've put this on the shelf, too many projects on the go and too much money to pay out.

Fair enough, it was worth a try.
