I traded a Tag Monaco with them years ago. A painless straightforward exercise. It would have been around 2005 though.

No recent experience. Many transactions with them up to 4 years ago. Straight but economic on buying and expensive when selling. Tim manages Dee a fantastic liaison and communicator with Jonny as owner. Great team.

I've bought and part exchanged with them in the past on varying pieces on different brands but not recently. They are mostly professional but I would add that although they may sell you a watch, they may not be so keen to buy or trade it back sometimes. Also, if you do have an issue, they may give you a credit note on a future purchase, not money back for repairs. They claim to have a watch repairer on site who inspects their stock.

I bought a Rolex from them which was described as "Excellent" and immediately put it in for service with Rolex. A host of issues were noted back to me, some which affected water resistance and of course, affected cost. watches.co.uk didn't offer me any money just a credit note and nothing in writing despite repeated requests.

They have a shop on Chiswick High Road (appointment only)
They have been about for years
Both I and my brother in law have had conversations about buying or trading watches but their prices are pretty much fixed with little room for movement
They do tend to have the best stock though.
I would deal with them if the right watch came up at the right price.

Have dealt with Tim on numerous occasions over the past couple of years and would recommend to anyone looking to purchase or sell. Selling or trade in, like everywhere else depends on the model etc but I have always been happy with the offers and likewise the concluded deal. You do get a 12 month warranty like most dealers in the secondary market and likewise with everywhere else the watches on sale would have been given a general look over on a timer and maybe a light clean and polish but certainly not a full service, no matter what Watchfinder say on their website!

Used them a couple of years ago, good, but offers to buy were low in comparison.

Agree, I suspect you get better trade in prices with other dealers.

Highly recommended, they sorted out a problem for me a long time after the purchase was made, I'd buy again anytime.

Bought a Glycine from them in 2009. Very friendly and helpful.
