Not bad for a drunken mistake.

When I came-to this afternoon after last night's excesses, I happened to check the ebay tab that I'd left open, and was surprised to find the dreaded words "thank-you for your purchase"...
I have no recollection of that happening, but then again I apparently took the dogs for a walk at 4am after the last of our guests left, and have no recollection of that either!
I'd sworn that I'd buy nothing more outright, and actually sell some stuff in 2020 - with anything new being funded from the ashes of former spendthrift activities...
Sphincter twitching in case I'd spend serious £££££ on some piece of junk / fake / scam, I was actually relieved to find I'd paid £300 for something I actually like the look of and don't already own! Just hoping the seller wasn't as drunk as I was, cos the price he accepted was pretty keen.
Anyone else done anything similar over the Festering Season, or indeed ever...?

That’s hilarious, at least you like it
I suppose drunken late night purchases are far safer then other potential drunken late night alternatives :-0

That could have been a lot worse. Some nice shades of blue going on there.
Thanks chaps. So just me then...? Oops...
I'd be more than happy to make that kind of mistake! Well done....I think.

That's where I am at the moment - not exactly proud of myself, but have to admit I'm loving how the piece looks, and I prefer quartz for regular wearers like this. Just hope it a) arrives, and b) is as described... Luckily paypal has my sorry ass if things are not in order!
I've done this a few times.
Worst I've spent was about £250 and TBH anything I bought I probably would have bought one day anyway.
Yep one year I bought a Diahatsu fourtrak off-roader with stupidly big wheels lifted suspension the works proper facepalm moment compounded by the fact it was for collection only from Bude lmao quite possibly the most arduous drive I’ve ever done bringing that back.

Not sure how I add them as images but that’s what I bought lol had great fun with it in the end
I once bought a lovely replica DSSD from a really nice guy in Lanzarote .
I’m thinking of putting this beauty up on SC soon
My favourite tale was of a friend who woke up one morning (after a boozy night) to the "thank-you for your purchase" only to find that he was the buyer of a motorbike - which came complete with a side-car...
He honoured the purchase and we subsequently had great fun driving the combo around an empty car park, which taught me two things: 1) they certainly don't handle like a motorbike and 2) never to browse eBay when intoxicated.
