A great night in with my wonderful SWMBO, we have just had a lovely meal and a VERY nice bottle of wine. Just relaxing in front of the box and delighted not to be out in the miasmic mix of the celebrating herd.

Have a great New Year boys and gals and may all your 2020 troubles be small.

For the first time in years me and the wife are in alone. Kids gone out in Newcastle and London. So the wife has a headache and wants a rom com on the tv. So I am now in the tricky situation of her being asleep on the settee but me knowing if I switch to an action film she will wake up exclaiming “I was watching that!”

Also sorry to read this. Hopefully the best in 2020 will follow you.
An aside from this are some who have not had a great year, and looking for changes in 2020.
I’ve not had the greatest 2020 work/finance wise. Health/aches and pains a lot more now...
I think I’ll have to have a different outlook -2020 vision - and hope it’s a darn sight better than this year 🙏

I am currently at a cocktail party and we are just playing the sock game.

It probably isn’t what you think.
So clever my foot fell off.

In bed now, been out with the daughters husbands and grandkids, so it’s off to sleep straight after midnight. I had all my mad nights before I was 45. Done with it now

A bit of tv and then a Glenfiddich to welcome 2020.

    Suffering Hootenany currently!

I don’t know what the dog has eaten but the farting is too much and everyone has gone to bed, meanwhile I’m waiting for daughter no.1 to call me to pick her and her drunk friends up from local club/disco. Next year I’m going to work New Year’s Eve and enjoy myself!
    Grumble grumble..

I’m also sorry to hear that. Remember that it hasn’t fallen apart, until it has - if that makes any sense. Especially if children are involved.

    All the best for 2020.

Live music at our local to see the new year in. Fancy a few beers lunchtime
