Looks good,Andrea makes very good straps at a reasonable cost.
Having always had my Polar Exp2 on it's original bracelet, decided to try something else for a change. After the usual extended wait for the Correos de Chile (Chilean mail service) to do their thing it arrived! As usual it's another top quality strap from Andrea at Martu straps and first impressions are good so far. Although tomorrow I may change my mind!
What do you guys and gals think?
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

Looks good though I think you take the bit about wearing the watch above the ulnar styloid too seriously:-)
Imho sport watches looks always better on steel especially rolexes

Like the idea but personally would go for a lighter tan to compliment the orange hand and white dial.
I tried my Exp 2 Polar on leather and rubber a few times - each time it lasted only a day before I put the steel bracelet back on.... I think it just looks right on the original bracelet. Somehow it looks odd on leather, rubber is slightly better, but still much worse than the oyster bracelet.
That is the one watch that I am sure would end the madness for me. The best of the Rolex line-up. When I say I am ‘sure’, I mean ‘fairly sure’. When I say ‘fairly sure’, I actually mean it would probably kick-start a whole new direction. Anyway, wearing it on leather makes sense to you but I’m ‘sure’ it should only be worn on the oyster.
Looks great.
About 4 years ago I bought a lovely everest leather strap with solid end links in the oyster style. A great bit of kit & really suited the watch.
I drifted back to the bracelet after about 6 months though.
Will be interested to see if you do same.
Not my cup of tea, neither the lug gap nor the colour. Only bracelet or orange RubberB for me. But each to his own.
Thanks for that! Will probably have to buy another strap now just to see.
I love it on the bracelet, at the moment it gets more wear time than anything else. There's something about it on this leather strap though which conjures up a tented camp, game for dinner and a whisky before sunset. (a bit Hemingway-esque that but you probably get what I mean!)
You WILL have to get one now and try it.......look into my eyes, look into my eyes, not around my eyes.........
I change straps weekly so anything could happen! It might be on a shark mesh tomorrow....

Sorry but no. The strap looks very nice, but the colour clashes with the orange hand. So the watch doesn't really look good, leather straps are not suitable. Now the pictures with the NATOs and the rubber strap do look good.
But as usual, Rolex SS watches look best on their bracelets

EXP2 on NATO all day long.

I prefer the explorer on rubber or a NATO than leather. Just my opinion, seems to fit it's DNA a bit better. My Explorer 39mm also doesn't quite work on leather as the lugs look too fat to me..
This is the only time I put a leather strap on my Explorer. Stick with the bracelet!
