Is there a particular reason you think NYC would be better than UK or EU?
I guess exchange rate will help but but you could easily be stung at customs if not lucky.

It's been years since it was cost-effective to buy in NY too. I'm actually old enough to remember when it was $2.50 to the £... I was going over there twice a year at the time, and never came back without a camera, a couple of suits or some other self-indulgent nonsense.
Still have some of the 8 pairs of CK jeans I bought there in '98. Bit baggy for me now unfortunately.

If you look on Chrono24 and filter for US, you’ll see asking prices over there although, as mentioned, you’d have VAT to add. (You could probably avoid/ be refunded local sales taxes.)
I think it was called watches of the world, near broadway I spent ages in there lol. Just enjoy NYC my favourite city loved it.
Just to echo others, forget it and enjoy what nyc has to offer.
