    42mm Rado Captain Cook

I've just been into the local AD and noticed the green Captain Cook for the first time.

Tried it on and was offered a wee discount but unsure of the brand TBH apart from I thought they were more of a vintage offering..

What are you guys thoughts on new Rados?

    Cheers,
    Adam

    Thank Rajen.

It's this one I'm looking at...

Gave it a miss, even with the discount, it was a bit too much for an impulse buy...

    What discount were you offered?

I've been thinking about selling my BB58 and replacing with this, it seems to have more character with that awesome deep green dial and the ceramic bezel

    Cheers

I got the opportunity to handle the green dial Captain Cook this afternoon. (Also got the opportunity to look at a BB58 at the same time). I ended up buying the BB58 but the CC is a well crafted watch. The beads of rice bracelet really suits the watch and the green/emerald dial is pretty stunning. Having now seen one I’ll be looking to pick up a CC later this year.

Vintage? Thought they were more known for ceramic bracelets.

Before their current run of two tone ceramics, the Captain Cook here is an enlarged homage to the original 1960s Captain Cook. Hopefully that didn’t feature the ceramic bracelet (personally I’m not a fan of that style of watch)
