Mine is also pretty stiff, nothing like the buttery smooth action of a Tudor.
Mine has another issue too, the rotor spins when I'm winding it, it's in warranty so need to send it off.

Hi all
Advice needed please.
I have just had my Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 back from a service (private).
Before it went I thought the manual wind was faulty. The crown was very very stiff to turn. I have in the past taken it into a couple of ADs that I deal with and they have said it is ok.
So as said it's now back from the service and I have been informed the " rotor ball" has been replaced too.
It's keeping great time, only lost one second in a couple of days.
But the manual wind is still very very stiff to turn.
Am I fretting over nothing or is there something wrong??
Thinking of selling the watch but would not do so if there is a fault.
Thanks in advance and a merry xmas to all.

Sorry, can't help . Haven't used the dual sim feature yet.
Have a SD card on that slot for now.

Only thing I can comment is, unlike in Moto g7, you don't get extra slot for 2 d SIM and an additional one for SD card.
There is one slot that can either be used for SD card or 2nd SIM.

Great, another two posts down. Keep it up.
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
Was over the moon when I saw my post had a couple more comments.
Thought to myself a little more insight into the the problem or maybe no problem I have.
But alas, just looks as if someone is trying to get their post count up!!!

Probably of not much use to you...but!
I bought an new Aquaracer, a few years back..after about 6-8 months, I also had a problem with the winding (sorry! It was also a calibre 5).
With mine, basically, the crown just "span around?"! Sorry for not being very technical!...What I mean is, when the crown was pulled out, the crown wouldnt , wind, change time/date etc. I of course sent it back to the dealers...they sent it back to Tag Heuer, and it was returned to me...as good as new!
No problem since.
Im "sure", there were some complaints of certain calibe 5 watches online etc?
Sorry if im not explaining it so well!
Hand winding shouldn’t be stiff, and the rotor shouldn’t spin when hand- winding. Both problems are likely to be caused by sticking reversers. Trying to hand- wind when there’s too much resistance can lead to broken teeth on the ratchet wheel, these problems need sorting out.
Mrs SiSetts and I went to do a bit of retail therapy yesterday.
Tried a few calibre 5's for hand winding by the crown.
All the same as mine very very stiff.
So i'm thinking now, this is normal.
Thankyou for the replies.
End of fretting.
