This guy didn’t like Pink or Lewin either. I bet they fair better in the tumble drier though.

I’ve been buying Thomas Pink shirts for business for years, usually in transit at T5 which saves me from going to normal shops, but the quality has gone downhill and they last only around a year now before the colour fades, or the cuffs/collars wear
I think the Pink shirts were somewhere around £60-£80, so that’s about the price mark.
I’ve tried Charles Tyrwhitt and the other one (Lewin?), well priced but couldn’t get a decent fit and they only lasted a few washes anyway.
What do the sartorial experts recommend?

I think you need to speak to your laundry department, I've been wearing some CT shirts for several years, must've washed some forty times.
If you tuck the collar inside the shirt and the cuffs back into the sleeves for washing it helps reduce wear to those areas.
I like the Harvie and Hudson slim shirts. Sale ones are in your budget. Nordstrom's luxury ones are nice if you're ever in the USA.
Try Van Laack

I ended up switching from CT to Emmett. In my view a much higher quality than CT. I tended to wait until they had a sale before buying.
I think CT are alright for the price.

Wanted - Damasko DC57
Providing you're not a fashion label tragic, try M&S.
Suit Supply - if the fit works, the quality is fantastic.
Eton or Eterna
Van Laack for “special”
Eternas website and on line service is excellent
Hawes and Curtis every time for me.
Can’t go wrong with Ralph Lauren IMHO, I have a few that I’ve worn regularly for 3 years now with very minimal fading, no shrinking and they’re even not that bad to iron!!
Saville Row is good enough for me. The fit is consistent and they wear extremely well.
I’m always happy with Ralph Lauren, often good deals on their website too.
Me too for Ralph Lauren. Also got a couple of great Gant shirts.
RL as much as i like the brand do not cut it for me in formal shirts try
Hilditch and Key or Hawes and Curtis
I FEEL LIKE I'M DIAGONALLY PARKED IN A PARALLEL UNIVERSE
Brooks Brothers - in my opinion knock spots off Pink, CT, Lewin, etc.

Made to measure for fit. Oxford cotton for longevity. About £100 a piece as a guide price. So much better that an off the peg shirt.
Skopes are best value for me.
Bought 2 Balmain shirts in Debenhams today for £30 each. Seems to be a general sale. They're well over £100 retail. Might be worth a visit to your local.

Have you tried Olymp? Made in Europe and they do a few with longer sleeves for taller men.

I've had a few Harvie & Hudson, Coles and Joseph Turner shirts from this Ebay seller:

All with very pleasing results.
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
What are these "shirts" of which you speak?
F.T.F.A.
I'm almost all CT shirts these days, I think they are best balance of price/quality. The classic fit from that company is nice and loose which I prefer.
Check out Eton.
I have more than I am willing to admit to and I absolutely love them.
Eton, very comfortable and stylish
Agree with this, I have lewin shirts, both regular and easy iron for the past 3 years in regular rotation and they are still in top condition.
The easy iron in particular is amazing, just shake it and hang it proberly when wet and it doesn't need ironing. This quality has not diminished with age or number of washes.
Smyth & Gibson provide excellent shirts; on sale, they may fit your budget, too.
Most are UK made, which is unusual these days (even among Jermyn Street 'brands' except when custom-made).
S&G's website (and sale now on) is: https://smythandgibson.com
Cheerio,
AP.
For £100 you're likely to be getting MTO rather than MTM but if the quality is good that's still worth it.
