    Looks lovely and right up my street at 38mm, but £800 for a Seiko NH35A powered watch? Yikes!

    Funky watch and being a fan of Jaws would love one of these, but as above too much money for what's inside for me to be tempted.

    The date window ruins it IMO and NH35A for that kind of price? Not for me thank you very much! I bet the tropic strap isn't even a good vulcanised rubber one too like from Joseph Bonnie/Wolbrook etc.

    The article says the Tropic is made by Isofrane. I agree re the movement though.

    Ah yes so it does. says Vulcanised Rubber, missed that somehow. That's good at least.

    Clever use of 1 to 12 on the bezel so it can be used to track another time zone as well as a timing device - very useful.
