Walter Fricker closing their doors at the end of the year.

We had a lengthy and rewarding relationship and they were responsible for the Dreadnought PRS-2 and Precista Italian. I wish them all well for the future.

Maybe you have already heard that our company will be closed by 31.12.2019.
A sad moment, which we yet want to use to thank you for the cooperation, help and support which we received from you during the last years.

    Thank you

We want to take the opportunity for a last time from this place to wish you and your families, friends and colleagues a merry christmas and a happy new year.

Even if you have to do this new year without us.

All the best and take care,

The whole team of the company Fricker GmbH & Co. KG

End of a thirty year era for them. IIRC they were also involved in manufacturing for the medical world too?

Seems a shame, they must employ quite a few people.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

Kemmner gone, Fricker gone, blimey, what's happening to German OEMs?

In the case of Fricker, one (well, I) would have thought that the business would be valuable enough for someone to want to buy it (if the proprietors were retiring).

Certainly a shame. Apart from PRS-2, Fricker also made the case for another favorite of mine- Kobold Seal

Really a pity, but as overseas suppliers are getting better at producing higher quality cases and technology evolves I expect that they cannot remain as competitive as they used to be...

That's a real shame; a name familiar to many here due to their connection with the DN.

Shame. When my L.E precista Italian developed the well known crown thread problem and I had to send to Germany for repair imagine my surprise when the English speaking person turned out to be Scottish and only a short distance away from me originally.
