Acting upon SWMBO’s instructions, I have ordered from Amazon a Rattan Christmas tree ‘box type’ skirt for our tree base.
It is due to be delivered today but the delivery page for this item is headed by a stern warning:-
Age Restricted Delivery: Someone over the age of 18 with a valid ID must be present for this delivery.

Ha ha. I had this when I ordered a bottle of Whisky from Amazon, which was to be expected. But what got me was that, when I answered the door, the delivery guy insisted I provide ID to prove my age! Perhaps I don't look over 70 after all....Originally Posted by KavKav
