I think it’s the PAM 590. Didn’t think it would be but it bloody well is.

Agreed. It’s almost like alpinist meets aquaterra.

That’s very nice, tried googling the dial number but couldn’t identify it. What model number is it?

This has been a more controlled year for me, mostly due to a house move, so I have picked up only a 3 watches in 2019. The top choice would be a very close run thing between PAM 372 and Rolex 126660 JC. Two very different watches but each special in its own way.

I don't buy watches that often, but the new bracelet for my 36mm Everest is just what I wanted after a lot of looking and waiting well over a year.

My favourite has to be the Sinn EZM-3 I found in a local jewellers' window!

However, I've been pretty pleased with these two budget purchases as well:

    Laco Flieger

    Sternglas Topograph

I think that’s a very good point, actually. The lugs are lovely and add to the overall elegance of the watch.

Some absolute beauties on this thread.
For me - I am a scruffy git, and don't rock the dress watch look at all.
So I was delighted to purchase this beat-up giant-size Navitimer from way back:

Designed for aircraft pilots with poor eyesight apparently.

This is probably my favourite purchase of the year - the ultimate Zenith - the Doublematic

This one probably comes in second

    Or maybe this one...

    Or this one....oh, I can’t decide

My collection is probably too large, so I was congratulating myself on resisting this. Now every time I see it I'm kicking myself instead.

Really like this, and it's slate sibling, look fantastic.

Without doubt the 6542 as it took a long time (and a lot of research) to find the right one...

Having said that, the year isn’t over yet...

That blue buckley is phenomenal. I have exactly the same in white and I love it.

This Birth Month and Birth Year 6105-8000 with original waffle strap (not shown) came along coincidentally just after I sold a SLA017.

This is my surprise hit of the year although from a brand I’m fond of. Unassuming unlike their square instruments, but thoughtfully designed and very nicely executed.
