1250 CHF is the price. I believe limited to 200 per year (availability of the movements is the limiting factor).

I think best version of the 17.06 - combines the blue and anthracite colours of the 17.01s so well.

I’m disappointed to miss out as well.

Didn’t know about it pre-release, got the email at 13:00 and were all sold out by 13:30.

Would love to try one. Imagine there will be a couple on eBay at inflated prices soon

Here’s an article by Ming explaining the limitations they have with their releases. Maybe next year now they have some experience they’ll be able to improve the situation somewhat - https://ming.watch/blogs/news/apprec...-and-realities

Beautiful watch. If it was a tiny bit bigger I would love one but 38mm is too small for me. Congrats to anyone who got one and look forward to seeing the pics on the forum. Seriously good looking watch.

I managed to get an order in for one of these, love the look of the alcantara strap it will ship with. Already have the copper variant, looking forward to adding the slate to the collection.

Anyone received these yet? Or is it a long wait for delivery?

Just had a read of the email announcing the Slate, mentions the following

Deliveries will commence from end-March 2020 on a first come, first serve basis

Probably! Customs had a good dig through the packaging on my 17.06 Copper when it was shipped, all branded labels torn when it arrived.

Malaysia I believe, assembly happens in Switzerland Ming QC happens in KL.

There was import duty of around £50 due for the copper, I think these are the same price too.

They seem to state a $500 customs value on every item despite them being worth much more. Asking for HMRC to cause issues IMHO although I suspect as it stands the number of Mings landing in the UK is so small that it doesn't even register
