    Interesting experience when I looked at VC recently. In the boutique said I have a 126600 to trade in against - they said they will talk to their partner firm. Off the salesman went and came back with a quote from WF. I ended up getting a better quote direct from WF - so be wary of that!

    Obviously, VC wanted a cut both ways.... just like the auctioneers, on hammer price, 19% from seller, PLUS 25% from the buyer (plus VAT !)

    Same experience - except at the Panerai boutique. I was surprised at first, but I guess that's the market now.
