I ordered some Bergeon stuff, 7767S, 7767F and the 6825 and I'd like to have a play with them ......... so that's keeping me in
It's also p1ssing it down here - the Polling Station is just up the road, but I suppose I'd better walk and save the planet

Just back from voting, no ID needed, just give your name and address to get marked off on the printout, marked my X in a box with a pencil (remember them?) and then stuffed it into a spare sainsburys plastic delivery box lookalike.
It all seems so archaic in this modern world of ours.

At our polling station the tellers (if that's what the party bods taking peoples numbers are called) were blocking the door, making people wait in the rain. I thought it a perfect metaphor for our times, politics getting in the way of action.
I wore a Sinn 356 II on a nice dark honey coloured Di-Modell Oregon which is a very good match for the original Sinn strap.. Sadly the current versions of this strap are a sickly tan colour, not nice at all.
I'll be staying up all night......... it will be too good to miss ........ either way ......... but confusion may rain if an outcome of no majority is indicated from the results as they come in ......... I've never seen our polling station so busy, but that could be because people were stopping on their way to work perhaps?

I fought my way through the maddening lunch time crowds laughing and snorting at the traditional Island inclement weather whilst fending off the over friendly advances of the rosette wearing party representatives trying to peer deep into my political soul for any sign of my voting inclination or any perceived weakness that they may use to sway me in those last few seconds while I masterfully traversed the steps to our local library.
Reaching the voting registration I proudly announced my postcode and was told "Wrong polling station". Bollocks !
I did this while proudly sporting my Orange faced Jacques Etoile Atlantis diver just in case the rain managed to get through my jacket.

What I do miss about going to vote is the representatives outside the polling station asking to take your name to tick you off the list.

Someone mentioned to me earlier, all we are doing is voting for the colour of the snake that bites us.
Wore a mudmaster today to cope with the amount of rain and mud on the dog walk voted on the way home for none of the above for the first time ever I spoiled my vote

Well there is quite a lot at stake and I know a lot of forum members won't leave the house without getting this sort of advice.
Not voted yet, I will do so on my way home from work.

CWC for my trip to the polling station. Wanted to try out my new strap (colourful 19mm NATOs are a bit tricky to find).

Voted after work. Polling station was heaving, never saw it so busy with a queue out of the door.
I was there at 7:02. First through the door on a beautiful day, well it was in my village. The Seamaster was overkill, a paper clock would have been enough. I voted for a party that thinks women should have a representative in Party matters, but men don’t need one. They no longer get donations from me.
Ten miles down the road the skies opened and the bus was hammered by hail, then the skies went dark, a prophecy of what is to come perhaps? Only tomorrow will tell!
Voted on the way back from - wearing PRS18Q with a Watchgecko MN type strap - polling station was busy. Busier than I've seen it before. Not 'Boxing Day sales' busy, but a steady stream. Hoping for a high turnout.
