Wow another one and towards the end of the year. Really sad. I have fond memories of David when I was growing up. RIP.
He was always on tele in the late 70s and 80s and used to pop up on Tiswas when Lenny Henry was doing his impression including 'Grapple me grape-nuts'
RIP David
Oh no! Im genuinely very upset.
He was so enthusiastic and taught me so much when l was young... so compelling to watch.
And Tiswas did a great send up of him... "Gwapple me gwapenuts!".
Mr Bellamy. Total legend. R.I.P.
Very sad news
David Bellamy was an absolute childhood favorite of mine. Very sad.
Urghhhh it’s that time of the year when my childhood memories start coming back because someone has passed...
RIP big man, always enjoyed seeing you on the tv...

RIP David Bellamy,
Your enthusiasm for the natural world got me rummaging in the fields, woods, streams and along the sea shores.
"Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it's enemy action."
'Populism, the last refuge of a Tory scoundrel'.
Rip
Another part of my childhood gone.
Oh dear. Missed him when he disappeared off tv. RIP.
What a guy, brilliant communicator and a great knowledgeable presenter - loved his nature shows in the 70s/80s..
..."Here in the undergrowth...."
Composht coorner.
Oh dear. I did like watching David Bellamy when I was a lad.

Skating away on the thin ice of a new day
I was really into the natural world when I was kid in the 80’s and still love it now, a lot of that was down to David Bellamy, I’m sure I met him when in primary school along with Terry Nutkins..
Very sad another British personality is gone.
RIP

RIP to a true gentleman
I worked with him a couple of times on adverts and he was charming: just had to remember not to mention Lenny Henry....

Another childhood hero gone too soon...
Apparently he was hastily ditched by the TV and media
in the early 90’s for poo-pooing the “new” global warming debate.
Rest in peace
